	Reuters reports on Wed February 11, 2004 03:58 AM ET LOS ANGELES - Dominique Swain has joined Thora Birch, Jena Malone, Marla Sokoloff and Anna Faris in the indie rock 'n' roll drama "Vinyl," which starts shooting at the end of next month. "Vinyl" follows the story of a group of women behind a male rock 'n' roll band that is on the verge of breakout success. Swain will play a groupie who pursues the band's singer. The male cast members are expected to be announced shortly. Richard Zelniker is directing from his own script. Birch is also serving as a producer. Swain's other credits include "Lolita," "Tart," "Pumpkin" and "The Job." She next stars opposite Dennis Hopper in "Out of Season." By Chris Gardner
