|  Zelda found this article in the December 2000 issue of 'Premiere'. Dominique Swain (Adrian Lyne's Lolita) is in Brazil catching rays, learning Portuguese, and filming 'Dead in the Water', starring as a rich kid whose vacation with her boyfriend (Scott Bairstow) and friend (Henry Thomas) takes a rather tragic turn. "Most people view her as manipulative," Swain says of her character, "but it's just a survivalist attitude." In 'Happy Campers' she'll star (opposite Brad Renfro) as an angst-ridden counselor, and in 'Tart', she's an uptown girl who falls for a tough city kid (Renfro again). But it's her role in 'Briar Patch', as a country woman who hires a friend to kill her abusive husband, that Swain--who says she was "dumped into the film industry at 15"--identifies with the most. "She's had a difficult upbringing, so she's had to take care of herself."

 Intern is now available in VHS and DVD format. Michael Lange (director Intern) reviewed his own movie at Amazon.com, read his review HERE. Ivan Voin scanned the pic from August "Allure" Magazine(section "Allure's Face") for us. Added three pictures I bought through Ebay, entitled 'Dominique and sisters'.
